The next two days were spent in a mixture of fun and professional updates as resource speakers tackle significant topics namely: · “Getting Updated with SEC Rules for Private Companies” by SEC’s Corporate Director, Atty. Every technical session is followed by an open forum to give venue for each delegate to ask or discuss gray areas or clarify vague points in the presentation. Ending on a high note is the talk of Dr. Onofre R. Pagsanghan, an Ateneo De Manila University high school teacher on “Love Your Work with Passion, it is the Meaning of Your Life.” This part of the program emphasized the necessity of giving meaning to our work by doing it with love and passion. This will give one the utmost fulfillment, in the knowledge that he was a productive person, not just by doing his job excellently, but empowering and influencing others through his works. Aside from getting their fill in the technical aspect, each delegate also had the chance to socialize, rekindle friendship with the rest, as programs, bowling games and Game Ka Na Ba? as well as the Search for the Ms. ACPACI/PICPA – United Nation’s Search were prepared to entertain and give venue for the CPAs to build and forge a more solid relationship with each other.
