Bahia Lounge Hotel Intercontinental Manila

Finally, ACPACI held the last general membership meeting via a Christmas party with its members at the Bahia Lounge of Hotel Intercontinental Manila. It was a night where members wore costume fitting the theme "Winter Wonderland". Four past presidents attended namely: Ms. Ona de Guzman, Ms. Aida Apostol, Ms. Baby Sison, Ms. Nora Aquino and Ms. Winnie Cuico.
In her brief christmas message, Ms. Cora Rey, ACPACI President said that ACPACI is the friend and the network for friendship among CPAs in the C&I Sector. Friendship is a chain of gold, shaped in God's all perfect mold, friendship is there each time we link a smile, a laugh, shed a tear, grip another person's hand, and say a word of cheer. No matter what the challenges may come, sweet is our journey together because we celebrate it with a friend.
Deviating from past christmas party of having a mooncake festival, this year, the members have parlor and bingo games and the most exciting is the "Name the mystery word" between two partners. Especially when it was the turn of partners Lito Manahan and Aida Apostol. Everyone had a good laugh as these two seniors participated. In between games are raffle and dancing until 11 PM with dance instructors. All the current ACPACI directors (Paz, Luz, Cynthia, Bec, Anna, Rommel and Edna) swayed to the music of swing, reggae, Tango, and the much loved LA walk where all attendees left their seats and danced.
Our ACPACI scholars also shared in the festivities - joining the games, dancing and thanking ACPACI of sharing its resources to send them to school.
