Your kind of partner in business is a graduate of the UNIVERSITY OF THE EAST some years back and is presently the Managing Partner of Dimaculangan, Dimaculangan and Co. CPA’s and U Konsult, Inc. Trained with Carlos J. Valdes and Co. as semi-senior auditor for 3 and 1/2 years. And later became an accounting manager and went on to become the AVP - Internal Audit of PILAR Development Corporation.
The experience she got from auditing land development companies and being an officer of Pilar Development Corporation served her well when she was invited to join FORFOM Development Corporation (owned by the Limcaocos) as its General Manager for eight (8) years. Her exposure in land development gave her a wide insight of the housing industry from land conversion to home buyers financing. She likewise served as a consultant to a number of housing development projects and as SVP-Finance of Imperial Homes.
As an educator, she is presently a lecturer on Understanding Accounting for SMEs of the Philippine Trade and Training Center (PTTC), Accounting for NGOs of the Tritium Knowledge, Inc. and an Angelpreneur mentor of the Gonegosyo Foundation. She used to be one of the CPA reviewers at the Center for Training and Development, Inc. and used to be in the faculty at the SAN BEDA COLLEGE , Alabang teaching accounting and finance subjects. She also taught at the DE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY-MANILA in 1986 on the same subjects earlier mentioned and also served as a resource speaker in accounting for non-accountants seminar of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PCCI) in 1995. She also conducts workshops on conversions of accounting records from GAAP to IFRS (full PFRS and for SMEs) for corporations.
Believing that knowledge should be sought at whatever stage of one’s professional life, she completed her Masters in Entrepreneurship at the Asian Institute of Management (Batch 9) in December, 2005. Despite her tight schedule, she is also able to squeeze her time to be an active Shepherd Servant of the Emmanuel Charismatic Community based at the Greenbelt chapel Makati and is presently a member of the Word Made Flesh Foundation.
A native of Surigao City, she is married to a Batangueno CPA, ALFREDO S. DIMACULANGAN, with whom she lovingly cares for their three children.
She was the Past-President of Southern Metro-Manila Chapter and was a member of the Metro-Manila Region Council of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (SMMC-PICPA MMR) for the fiscal year 2009-2010, but before this, she had also served in different positions in the SMMC-PICPA-MMR. Previously a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of ACPAPP (Association of Certified Public Accountants in Public Practice) and held other positions in ACPAPP in the previous years. She is also presently the Chair for Professional Development of ACPAPP. She is a member of the Tax Management Association of the Philippines (TM-AP), Institute of Internal Auditors and an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners as well as member of the Association of CPAs in Commerce and Industry (ACPACI).
