The Association of CPA’s in Commerce and Industry (ACPACI) represented by its Officers, Board of Directors and its active members joined the Social Involvement Committee in its first Medical and Dental Mission in Sitio Lambak, Quezon City, last May 25, 2014.
Present during the outreach activity were Acpaci Past President, Ms. Connie Cadelina with her two supportive members from the SM Store, Board of Director Mr. Bien Constantino and Social Involvement Committee officers, Ms. Edna L. Constantino and Ms. Lolit Tang. Also present were ACPACI Secretariat, Fritz Ortiz and Marlon Rendon. The group assisted the parish ministry workers in releasing prescribed medicines, while others assisted the patients during dental treatment.
This medical and dental mission has been consistently participated in by ACPACI for the past 11 years with its devoted partner, the Ministry of Social Services of the Parish of the Lord of the Divine Mercy, headed by Ms. Flor Junia. The cash donation of the Association is used to purchase medicines and multi-vitamins for Sitio Lambak residents, particularly the children.
This selfless service is also being supported by a group of volunteer doctors and dentists sacrificing their Sunday for the less privileged families of Sitio Lambak. A total of 138 children and adult availed of the free medical and dental services.
After the activity, ACPACI family went home with joy in their hearts, having shared a little of their time for this noble undertaking.
